The Effect of Competence on Health Promotors Performance in Central Java Indonesia

Health Promoter is one of the health professionals in all institutions. Different educational backgrounds, levels, competencies and functional positions can affect performance field. This study aims to analyze competence its effect on promoters. type research an exploratory survey with a quantitative approach. The population promoters Central Java. sample was 114 people selected by simple random sampling technique. Data analysis used linear regression. results showed that there strong positive correlation between (r = 0.712), coefficient determination (R square) 0.507. explains 46.3% influenced competence.
